Bohemian Girl - Dressing From The Heart

Sunday, March 11, 2018
I'm sure you've noticed. It's a reoccurring theme here. These girls LOVE a great Bohemian look!

Today Ferry's showing of this outfit we compiled with a little bit of this and some of that. Which is really the best way to create bohemian fashion. In the end, Ferry said that this was her favorite outfit yet!

One thing about putting together a great boho look is that you don't have to try too hard. Colors don't have to be an exact match. As long as your prints fall in the line of boho paisley, floral, and maybe even a touch of some Aztec you should be good. You can see here how Ferry used 3 different prints with the Jak & Peppar duster jacket, Old Navy top, and the Jak & Peppar scarf.

Adding denim to your tween's bohemian look is so easy to do. And the more destroyed the denim, the better. A patch or 2 (... or 12, lol) is another great detail to incorporate. Ferry's GAP jeans had just enough of both to make them work great.

Don't forget to pile on the accessories! Ferry's wearing 2 different hair accessories, both from Claire's. Along with 4 hemp bracelets (Made by my dear friend Deb, Thanks Deb) on one wrist and a dainty golden feather chain bracelet on the other.

A spring/summer outfit must include a great pair of shades. We found these blue lens avaitors from TCP. I adore the touch of color it brings to this look.

Ferry's sassy wedge fringe ankle boots from The Children's Place from last year still fit her. Isn't fringe fun?
